DoFollow: Let the love flow.

The Hussy likes to hear what you have to say and enjoys your comments on each and every subject. At this point I will introduce two words that many of you will never of heard before: Commentluv and Dofollow, If you know understand the meanings of these words, then skip all of this grossly oversimplified waffle.

Google-Juice

Google rules the world. It makes the rules, enforces the rules and rewards/punishes as it pleases. If a website places at the top for a particular search term, that is good – obviously. But how does google choose the winners and losers? The currency of the internet is google-juice, the more juice you have the higher you place in search results.

Google-juice doesn’t just slosh around the Internet it flows in the direction of links between web pages. The more links to a page the more juice it sucks up. The flow analogy starts to fall apart at this point because you don’t lose google-juice outwards though a link.

Have you gotten more traffic to your site ever since you started using DoFollow policy? Do you get a lot of spams? Let me know because I am curious whether or not I should start doing DoFollow.

nope traffic is fairl constant. spam? askimet fixes all that for me so not really a problem, I like some of the spam- written by computers and reading like the dialogue form Lord of the Rings.

Yes quite agree i could never see why you would want to use no follow links except to stop pages on your own site being indexed i.e shopping basket. Blocking out links seems just selfish

The whole thing about google liking or disliking is so powerful and mysterious sometimes it seems as if its working backwards. They say they want good content but it takes up so much time to please them there is less time for good content. Its really a catch-22. Thanks for your contribution tho. I need to look into it more, but then again–time.
