Complete(ish) Brighton Listings

This is a list of all the events that The Hussy has been invited to on facebook. If you want to get a weekly list of the very best and mostly interesting events in Brighton, then I suggest that you subscribe to our whats on in Brighton newsletter 

This is not a complete set of listings, it os completely biased by what we like and would want to see. The are other places with complete listings and we really think that you should go and give your business to them. If you want to be included on the list please get in touch events@thehussy.co.uk.

We like to keep our events diary and list of whats on reasonably up to date. But , you iknow how it is? Things happen, sometimes they don’t. I kinda wish life wasn’t like that but,it is.

That’s why I reckon it’s going to be good, that’s why it’s going to change your life.

Here is what I don’t know…

So there you have it…

And to accompany it here is the evidence,

It appears to show evidence of people drawing on each other and bingo. I think they are smashed and they are probably mates. It is dark, so let us assume it is underground. What more do you need to know?

Best know for his computer generated pen and brush drawings, Verostko will be presenting audiences with an overview of his seminal algorist work and his pioneering contribution to the development of digital art over the past thirty years. Stewart Lee has his own TV series, is smug and condescending. Do you need another reason.

3. Look at Something:

Crane Kalman - Photography Exhibition

Till 25th October

Lots of photos of trees, so it’s good if you like photography and good if you like trees. Win-win. The trees were actually lit at night by the photographers assistant crawling all over them with a torch.

4. Get Some God in Your Soul:

Brighton Symphony @ Bartholomews Church

Saturday 17th October

St Bartholomews Church off London Road is the tallest church in England. When it was being constructed, the site manager was taken ill and in his absence nobody thought to tell the builders to stop. Coincidentally, it is exactly the same size as Noah’s Ark was. So if you don’t like symphony music then you can lean back ad stare up at the distant ceiling.

5. Wast Your Money:

THE PHILOSOPHY OF LOUISE HAY @ Sanctuary Cafe

Wednesday 14th October, 7.30pm
