Beachdown Festival - Press Pass competition
The Hussy would like to send a writer to Brighton’s summer festival. And it could be you.
The Beachdown festival has given us two Press Passes, for one writer and one photographer. We are going to give the passes to two deserving people.
The Prize
The Beachdown Festival is a four-day, four-stage event on the edge of Brighton. The winner will have access to front stage, back stage and press area. We would like you to cover the event for The Hussy. Reviews, interviews, opinions, we want to hear it all.

How to enter
The first thing you need to do is complete the expression of interest form at the bottom of this page.
In order to win this prize, you need to prove that you can write something that other people want to read.
You must submit a minimum of two pieces of writing; one of them must be a review of a live event (not necessarily music event), one must be on another subject.
The writing must be your own but does not have to be unpublished.
Your work will be loaded onto www.thehussy.co.uk the writer whose work receives the most visitors wins.
If you wish you can increase your chances of winning by submitting a maximum of one piece each week until the end of June.
The winning writer will be the one whose posts receive the highest total number of visitors before the closing date.

Smallprint: The prize does not include transport or accommodation. The Hussy does not guarantee to publish your work. If you are under eighteen either check with your parents or run away from home.
