Beachdown Cancelled: or is it?

For reasons that are still clouded in pr piffle and rumour the festival is off.

However, the rumblings on the net suggest that it is shaping up to be a free festival in the style of Castlemorton where 20,000 people put on what was to become one of the last Free festivals. So if the sun is shining this weekend then head towards the downs and listen for the rumble of bass bins.

If enough people turn up then maybe Grace Jones and Grandmaster Flash will put in an appearance. An acoustic singsong around the campfire with 80′s stars would be a memory to share with your grandchildren…

   oooooh don’t get me excited. I’m ever the optimist and I want to sing with Mr. GM Flash round a fire whistt grace makes us pokey vodkas and hugs us warmly, crackin’ jokes and doing bad running man dance …. I’m not sure I can bear the disappointment if this doesn’t pan out!
